Getting Started
Build and publish your bento profile in under 5 minutes.
1. Sign in
Go to /auth/signin and connect with GitHub or Google. This creates your account and takes you to the dashboard.
2. Create a profile
From the dashboard, pick one of three paths:
- AI generator
Describe yourself and Claude generates a full layout.
- Start from a template
6 ICP-targeted layouts — creator, developer, brand, and more.
- Start from scratch
Open the builder with 5 default tiles and build freely.
3. Use the builder
The builder is a 4-column drag-and-drop grid. Here's the key layout:

|---|---|
| Left panel | Tile palette — drag any tile type onto the canvas |
| Canvas (center) | Your live bento grid. Drag to move, drag corner to resize |
| Right inspector | Edit the selected tile's content, style, and metadata |
| Top bar | Profile name · Undo/Redo · Mobile mode · Preview · Publish |
Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z to undo. Ctrl+Y / Cmd+Y to redo. Delete key removes selected tile.
4. Publish
Click Publish in the top bar. Your profile is instantly live at boxli.me/your-slug. Edits are only visible publicly after you publish — the builder works in draft mode by default.
5. Set your URL slug
In the builder's right panel (with no tile selected), edit your profile's URL slug. Availability is checked in real time. Slugs must be 3–40 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
